Federal University Dutsin-ma debunks bandits’ attack rumour

The Federal University, Dutsin-ma, in Katsina State, has debunked a social media report, of an attack on the institution, and the abduction of students by bandits. This is coming less than 48 hours, after the abduction of students from a private university in Kaduna.

The Acting Director, Public Relations and Protocols of the institution, Habibu Matazu, issued adenial in a statement.

According to the statement, there was no bandits’ attack on any of the campuses of the institution, noting that nobody was abducted.

Matazu described the report as a false rumour and urged students, parents, guardians, the university community, and the public at large to disregard the rumour.
