Residents of Festac Town in Amuwu Odofin area of Lagos state have called on their representatives at Fereral House of Representatives, George Geye ,the state House of Assembly representative, Hon Foluke and the local council chairman, Lanre Sanusi to put aside their political differences and concentrate on bringing democratic dividends for the good of the people in the area .
The residents under the aegies of ‘,bring back Festac-Amuwo’ made this plea while briefing journalists on the deplorable road infrastructure within Festac town that once played host to millions of Tourists from across the globe during the over 2 weeks Festival of Arts and Culture celebration in 1977.
