The Federal Government has appealed to Nigerians planning to embark on protests to shelve the plans.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohamed Idris, made the appeal, after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House on Tuesday.
The minister told State House Correspondents that the president is a listening president, and has heard the agitation and protests of Nigerian youths, and is working assiduously, to ensure that this country is good for today as well as for the future.
The minister says, there is no need for a strike, as the president needs time before he realizes all the goodies he has for them.
Idris highlights the policies the administration has in place, to cushion the effect of the hardship Nigerians are feeling.
The minister explained that the whole idea is for no one to be left behind, because the administration is an all-inclusive government, and “the President is determined to ensure that no one is left behind, in the attempt to march Nigeria towards progress.”
