The Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika has approved the reinstatement and resumption of Emirates Airlines Winter Schedule flights into Nigeria with immediate effect.
According to a release signed by the Director General of the Nigeria civil aviation authority NCAA Captain Musa Nuhu this is coming after the review and acceptance of the Safety Decision 2021-02 issue 24″ as released by United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority by the federal Government.
With this development Air peace and Emirates Airlines are at liberty to resume scheduled passenger flights between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates under the terms and conditions of the Bilateral Air Services Agreement BASA between the two countries.

All parties have however been informed accordingly and must ensure strict compliance with the COVID-19 Travel protocols of both countries.
The NCAA re-assures the travelling public that the federal government would continue to ensure the provision of air services while protecting national interests at all times.
Recall that the federal government had suspended the operation of Emirates airlines into Nigeria, following the refusal of the united Arab Emirates General civil aviation authority to allow Nigeria’s airline Airpeace to fly into that country.
