The Federal Government has launched free Compressed Natural Gas conversion Programme and provided 10 CNG buses for Commercial use in Kogi State.
The Programme Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas, Michael Oluwagbemi, said the ten buses donated by the Tinubu led administration will reduce 40 percent transportation cost in Kogi State.
Kogi state governor Usman Ododo, noted that his administration has keyed into the Federal Government initiative for an environmental friendly transportation in Kogi State.
He thanked President Tinubu for his relentless efforts to reduce transportation cost amidst global challenges.
The Minister of Steel Development Shaibu Abubakar Audu and the Kogi State Commissioner of Transportation Victor Atuluku both
appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the present administration, noting that there is light at the end of tunnel.
The CNG buses are expected to ply routes across the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State.
