The crisis between aggrieved workers and management of the premier Michael Imoudu Institute of Labour Studies, MINILS in Ilorin, Kwara State may be resolved soon.
This follows a visit by the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, which resulted in the setting up of a committee to resolve the feud between the Director-General of the institute, Issa Aremu and the staff.

The minister who held a peace meeting at MINILS headquarters in Ilorin said the committee is to address grievances of the workers, monitor leadership performance, and recommend reforms to the federal government.
Since the reappointment of Issa Aremu as MINILS director general, the staff members have been kicking against his leadership style, with many describing it as autocratic, repressive, and non-innovative.
