All directors of agencies under the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development have been sacked.
According to a statement released on Thursday. Minister Festus Keyamo ordered that the directors of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN, Nigeria Meteorological Agency NIMET, Nigeria Airspace Management Agency NAMA, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA and the Nigeria Safety and Investigation Bureau NSIB all be relieved of their positions.
The directors have been directed to handover to the most senior officer in their various agencies with immediate effect
Agencies’ board secretaries and legal advisers are not affected by the directive.
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday approved the sack of all aviation industry heads following recent safety and other developments within the industry.
