Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, NRS, Zacheaus Adedeji, has announced that the new tax laws have officially come into force.
Adedeji who made this announcement in his hometown, Iwo Ate area of Oyo state, urged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration as the new tax regime is aimed at addressing fiscal challenges and to help the country grow economically. He says the new tax laws are also designed to make Nigeria competitive with other countries globally.

Adedeji emphasised that achieving the goals set for the new tax laws will be gradual, and it will take up to five years to reach the full potential.
He called on Nigerians to rally behind President Tinubu, especially in the election year. He noted that the current challenges are temporary and the benefits of democracy will soon be evident.
