Stakeholders have urged the Federal Government to intensify efforts to tackle the prevailing security challenges in the Northwest zone and the country at large for improved farming and economic activities that would in turn, create prosperity for the people.

This call was made during a Sensitization and Enlightenment of Stakeholders by the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation on policies and programmes initiated by the Tinubu administration to cushion the hardship being experienced as a result of the fuel subsidy removal.

Gathered in the hall were Corps members, representatives of political parties, unions, and civil Society organizations among others.

They gathered for the Sensitization and Enlightenment campaign on policies and Social Intervention programmes under the renewed Hope Agenda put together by the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation to provide in-depth information to citizens on and how to access the various social intervention programmes.

The representative of the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Auwai Bala highlighted the significance of the Sensitization and Enlightenment campaign.

The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yusuf Idris, called on the people to support the Tinubu’s administration to succeed in tackling banditry and other crimes in the Northwestern States, for the overall development of the region.

Bashir Hassan who is one of the Stakeholders, wants the president Bola Tinubu’s administration to channel its energy on addressing insecurity and looting from public Treasury, which he believes if done, can ameliorating the challenges facing Nigeria.

Many of the Stakeholders in this Sensitization campaign were concerned about the sustainability of the Social intervention programmes, and want the Federal and State governments to fashion out policies that would have lasting impact on citizens.
