Minister of Youth Development, Jamila Ibrahim has restated federal government’s resolve to partner relevant stakeholders to fight the menace of drug abuse among youths and adolescents.

The minister stated this at a sensitization workshop on elimination of drug and substance abuse among youths in the southwest held in Ado Ekiti.

Drug abuse has become a growing concern among stakeholders in Nigeria as stakeholders say the fight against crime may not be won until the battle against drugs and substance abuse is won.

This prompted the federal ministry of youth development to organize the two-day sensitization seminar for youths.
