Vice President Kashim Shettima says the Federal Government will ensure quick access to single digit loans for Nigerian small business operators within the shortest time possible in line with government’s economic strategy to encourage Micro Small and Medium Enterprises for accelerated economic growth.
The Vice President made this known in a message to mark the 2023 World Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Day.
While wishing Nigerians a happy World MSME Day, he said that the government of President Tinubu recognises the vital role the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and promoting innovation.

He said the federal government remains committed to providing support, fostering an enabling environment, and improving access to finance for MSMEs, especially in these unprecedented times.
The Vice President urges all stakeholders to come together to champion the growth and success of MSMEs to achieve sustainable development for all, noting that President Tinubu is a partner and is here to make life easier for MSMEs in the country.
