The Federal Government says Nigeria is a potential net-exporter of technological talents to the world and that the recent vandalization of its Digital Industrial Park in Kano will not deter the Bola Tinubu-led administration from achieving its goals.

Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, who said the facility will be rebuilt and put to use in Kano State, dispels rumors making the rounds that the park will be relocated to another part of the country.

The August 1st, 2024 #EndBadGovernance protest which took place in Kano State, left devastating scenes in the rich commercial city, with the Nigerian Communications Commission’s Digital Industrial park totally vandalized.

Six weeks after and contrary to fears that the facility will be relocated to another State in the country, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy Bosun, Tijani visited the affected site and rekindled the hope of Kano youths that the park will be rebuilt for the intended Purpose.

Bosun re-echoed President Bola Tinubu’s resolve to produce three million technological talents to be globally relevant.

The Kano Digital Industrial Park scheduled for commissioning on 3rd August before it was vandalized on the 1st, is planned to provide training for young people to get technological skills in computer, data, and cyber-related skills.
