Worlds football governing body FIFA has announced venues for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2023 Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced that Eden Park in Auckland will host the opening game with the final taking place in stadium Australia in Sydney.
Seven other cities including Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth will also host games.
Others are Wellignton, Dunedin and Hamilton

A city each in Australia and New Zealand will host the two semifinals with the full schedule to be announced later this year,
Both nations already qualify for the world cup as hosts, while the tournament will be the first women’s world cup to feature 32 teams.
