Reverend Hayap however did not disclose whether ransom was paid.

The fifteen students regained freedom thirty-two days after twenty-eight others were earlier released by the bandits on July 25.

Recall that the 121 students of Bethel Baptist were abducted on the 5th July from the school when they came to write their exams.

The release of the fifteen students by the bandits brings the total to fifty-four. Sixty-seven students are still with the bandits.
