The chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar, says, the Air force will deploy four unmanned aerial vehicles to Zamfara State, to further boost the fight against insecurity.
He made this known during a visit to Zamfara State, to assess infrastructure, and secure land for the new facilities.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar, while on the visit, said the deployment of four unmanned aerial vehicles, UAV, is to use human and material resources to ensure security in the country.
He says the Air Force will deploy more personnel to Zamfara State, to strengthen the ongoing war against the spate of insecurity in the State and beyond. He solicited the support of the people in the area of intelligence, to enable the troops to locate the hideouts of the bandits.

Governor Bello Mohammed of Zamfara state said his administration will not spare those who are providing cover for the criminal elements. He said the state government will work hard with security operatives, to fish out the criminals in the state.
Zamfara State government has donated land to the Air Force to build the run way for the umanned aerial vehicles in the State.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, was accompanied by some senior Air force officers.
