The Tiv Area Traditional Council has resolved to strengthen its partnership with the State Government to surmount the growing issue of insecurity to boost rapid development in the State.
Chairman council of chiefs the Tor Tiv James Ayatse made this known to journalists after a closed door meeting with Governor Hyacinth Alia and other Royal Fathers from the Tiv extraction.
Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia held the closed door session with the Tiv area traditional council at the Tor Tiv palace in Gboko local government area of the State.

On the worrisome issue of insecurity Governor Alia was emphatic that the nation’s food basket must be made safe in order to live up to its full potential in food production.
The Chief executive appreciated the royal fathers for their blessings as it is a spring board to record, more breakthroughs in development for the State.
