An Accidental Air Strike has reportedly killed and injured several individuals in an Airstrike at Jilli Market near Fuchimiram Village in Geidam Local government area of Yobe state.
A resident who spoke to AIT NEWS on the condition of anonymity revealed that the incident happened on Saturday when the traders were busy undertaking their business activities at the market.
An eyewitness who visited Geidam Specialist Hospital and sent some pictures show that several victims were receiving emergency medical treatment.

According to him, the hospital’s accident and emergency unit is already overstretched as the number of injured persons keeps increasing.
The unconfirmed source told our correspondent that the military fighter jet was trailing the movement of some Boko Haram Insurgents in their enclave, who later went to the market to collect levies from the residents.
