Nigerian film director and producer Kunle Afolayan has released the trailer to his new movie titled Anikulapo, a Netflix original.
The film ANIKULAPO; a Yoruba word, meaning “the one who has death in his Pouch” is centered on the story of a young man’s quest for greener pastures in the ancient Oyo kingdom.
The sojourner unfortunately found love in a forbidden place, longed for the abominable and eventually got caught in the web of lust.
The film ANIKULAPO, a Netflix and Kunle Afolayan Production motion pictures collaboration ‘ is expected to be released on the global streaming platform on September 30, 2022.
The star studded movie will hold the audience spell bound to their screens with top notch Nollywood actors Kunle Remi, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Bimbo Ademoye, Dele Odule, Adewale Adeoye, Aisha Lawal, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, skit makers Ikorodu Boiz, Macaroni among other cast.
