A petrol tanker was last night involved in a fire explosion in Lambata, Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State, The tanker was said to be conveying Premium Motor Spirit.
The incident according to an eye-witness, claimed lives and properties whose figures could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report. They include cars, houses, and shops.

Efforts were made by spirited individuals to put out the fire.
Lambata town is along the Suleja-Minna Express Way.
