Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development has denied an alleged plan by it to move a fire-fighting simulator out of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, NCAT Zaria in Kaduna State to Lagos State.
The refutal followed a viral video on a motion moved in the House of Representatives last week, making reference to an unsubstantiated plan by the Ministry to move a fire-fighting simulator out of the College.
In a statement, The Ministry urged the House to ignore the alleged plan as the rumour is nothing but pure mischief by agents of destabilisation as it is totally untrue and unnecessary since the Minister, Festus Keyamo who had thoroughly investigated the matter had already clarified the issue with the Speaker, Tajudeen abbas through a private conversation.
It also urges members of the public to disregard the rumour which amounts to grandstanding by anyone trying to make political gains out of fake information.
