A four-storey building located at 43, Martins Street, Off Broad Street in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria has been gutted by fire.
South-West Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibrahim Ibrahim Farinloye who spoke to AIT live on telephone explained that the fire which started at about 12 noon on Sunday engulfed a section on the third floor before it was prevented from spreading any further by emergency responders who rushed to the scene of the incident.

Though the cause of the inferno was not known as at the time of filing this report, there was also no confirmation of casualties recorded during the fire incident according to the NEMA official.
