No fewer than 10 shops at the Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko in Benue State have been razed down by fire.
The incident was said to have happened Thursday night.
Every single item in the shops managed by individuals, including photocopiers, laptops, refrigerators, generators, etc were consumed in the inferno.

Staff and students who came to school this morning were stunned at the disaster.
Although the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained the Registrar of the school, Gabriel Abari who was among the early callers to the scene expressed shock over the unfortunate incident.
