Some informal settlements on Kano Street in Ebute-Metta area of Lagos State, South-West Nigeria were on Sunday evening gutted by fire.
The fire is said to have affected a number of households and displaced several residents of the affected settlements.
A joint team of emergency responders which includes the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Lagos State Fire Service and the Federal Fire Service were battling the flames as at the time of filing this report.
