A very desperate call for help late Tuesday night seemed to have fallen on deaf ears as the fire rages far beyond control razing hundreds of shops at the Kastina – Ala main market.

Beyond investigations to ascertain the actual cause of the fire, there is still the urgent need for some support from relevant authorities to cushion the effect.
