A United States-based global financial information services provider focusing on credit ratings, commentary and research, Fitch Rating, has commended the Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, for his effective management of the resources of the state and making investments decisions that have greatly transformed the state and impacted lives.
Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Planning, Asiru Idris, told journalists in Lokoja that Fitch Rating ranked Kogi State ‘B-‘ Outlook Positive, and endorsed Governor Ododo’s visionary leadership and development strides since his assumption of office.
The statement also noted that the award-winning New York-based international credit rating agency, after analysing the financial performance and fiscal management of the Kogi State Government, expressed satisfaction with the Ododo administration’s fiscal prudence.
Asiru commended Governor Ododo for his visionary leadership and noted that the high rating of the Kogi State Government by the U.S-based organisation will further strengthen the State Government to be more fiscally responsible for the benefit of the people of the state.
