The Police have confirmed the rescue of eight kidnapped persons including five pupils and three teachers of Apostolic Group of Schools in Ekiti State, South-West Nigeria.
They were kidnapped on Monday, January 29 during attack on their school bus by gunmen along Emure-Eporo Ekiti.
Reports however indicate their school bus driver was not lucky to return alive.

Manhunt of the gunmen in a search and rescue operation to secure release of the abducted pupils and their teachers followed orders from President Bola Tinubu who was reacting to public outcry over the incident.
