Five persons have lost their lives in an accident involving two vehicles.
Three persons survived the accident which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, along the Lambat – Kwakuti Road, in Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State.
According to eyewitness, overspeeding and the slippery road, as a result of a heavy downpour, were said to be responsible.
The eyewitness commended the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC personnel for prompt response

The FRSC personnel were said to have evacuated the deceased and the injured to a nearby health facility.
The state’s Sector Public Relations Officer, Habibu Egigogo, could not be reached for comments on the incident.
