The Federal Government says it will continue to give necessary support and provide the needed assistance to flood victims across the country.
The Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mustapha Ahmed, gave the assurance on Thursday at the handing over of over 125 kg(292.4 metric tons) of grains to the Ondo State Government for victims of flood disaster in the State.
Ahmed, who was represented by the Director of Special Duties, Onimode Bandele said the materials were brought to the State to cushion the effect of floods across the country including Ondo State.

Other items handed over include 1000 bags of rice, 1000 bags of beans, 1000 bags of maize, 75 bags of salt, and 75 kegs of vegetable oil.
