Residents of Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State are crying out for urgent intervention after a devastating flood ravaged their communities on August 3, 2025.
The flood, triggered by heavy rains, caused widespread destruction in Kalong, Shimankar, Kawo, and Tukung communities, displacing people from their homes and farmlands.
The victims are asking government at all levels to allocate necessary resources to support them in rebuilding their homes and providing medical assistance to them .
