The trial of the ousted Venezuelan leader, Nicolás Maduro has been adjourned to the 17th of March after he pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Monday.
Maduto pleaded not guilty to charges of narcotics dealing and weapons smuggling charges before a federal court in New York
He was seized by U.S Special Forces from his residence in the wee hours of Saturday.
“I am not guilty,” he said and added that he is a “decent man I am still the president of my country.”
