Football: CAF Releases 2025 U-17 AFCON Fixtures

The Confederation of African Football CAF has announced the fixtures and venues for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025 fixtures.

The 15th edition of the continental tournament will be played by 16 countries between March 30 and April 19,

A total of four stadiums will play host to matches during the tournament, namely the El Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia, the Larbi Zaouli Stadium and the Berrechid Stadium, which are both in Casablanca, as well as the El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida.

The first match will be played at the El Bachir Stadium on Saturday, March 30 when tournament hosts Morocco face East African champions Uganda.

The following day Tanzania will take on Zambia to round off the opening round of Group A fixtures.

Later in the afternoon, Casablanca’s Larbi Zaouli Stadium will host an exciting Group B clash between Burkina Faso and Cameroon.

The last fixture of the day, will see South Africa face off against Egypt in an exciting game

Group C and D fixtures will take place on Tuesday, April 1 with the reigning champions Senegal taking on Gambia at the El Abdi Stadium at while Somalia will,face off against Tunisia.

In Group D, Mali, will , take on tournament debutants Angola, while former champions Cote d’Ivoire will face Central African Republic.

The CAF U-17 AFCON Morocco 2025 also serves as a FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Africa will be represented by 10 teams at the newly expanded showpiece set to take place in Qatar later this year.
