Forbes has unveiled its annual ranking of the highest paid deceased celebrities for the year 2023; with the Late King of Pop Music Michael Jackson sitting at number one.


The list comprising thirteen renowned deceased musicians, authors, and actors among other creatives released Tuesday (October 31st) had the late entertainers earn a total of four hundred and seventy million dollars ($470 million) in the last 12 months; a seventy percent decrease from the record-breaking one point six billion dollars ($1.6 billion) grossed in 2022.


Michael Jackson led the Forbes’ List with $115 million in earnings.

American Singer Actor Elvis Presley followed with $100 million. Occupying the third spot is American keyboard player Ray Manzarek’s $45 million.
American author-cartoonist Dr. Seuss followed with $40 million.
Another American cartoonist, Charles Schulz, was fifth on the list with $30 million in earnings, alongside U.S. singer-songwriters Prince and Whitney Houston also earning $30 million each.
British Singer Songwriter was eighth John Lennon with $22 million. Jamaican Reggae legend Bob Marley followed with $16 million.
American Singer Actor Bing Crosby and English Singer Songwriter George Harrison earned $14 million each. In comparison, twelfth on the list was American professional Golfer Arnold Palmer who raked in $10 million, while American Actress Model Marilyn Monroe in the thirteenth spot also earned $10 million.
