The solicitor general of the federation Dayo Apata, says the inter-ministerial committee on the disposal of assets forfeited to the federal government will put an end to poor management of assets which prevents the government from realizing the full benefits of the forfeitures.
Apata, chairman of the committee, said this during a press briefing at the ministry of justice, Abuja, adding that the forfeited assets are currently in 25 locations across Nigeria.

He also said the committee in collaboration with the federal ministry of works and housing is expected to carry out the disposal of landed property, vehicles, plant, machinery and water vessels forfeited to the government..
Apata promised to provide Nigerians with periodic updates on how forfeited assets are being handled and said his committee will conduct their activities with utmost transparency.
