Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the reinstatement of Emmanuel Zira as Chairman of Adamawa United Football Club.
Governor Fintiri in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, congratulated Zira while hoping that it will be a motivation to take Adamawa State to an enviable position in football.
A sports enthusiast and administrator, Zira led Adamawa United Football Club of Yola to qualify for the Premiere League in the 2005/2006 season.
The club currently plays in the elite Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL where it is battling to stay afloat the relegation waters.
