A former General secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congrees, Peter Ozo-Eson is dead.
The former chief economist of the NLC was reported to have died at the University college hospital, UCH, ibadan.
Ozo-Eson a former lecturer at the University of jos was instrumental in the achievement of the N18, 000 national minimum wage from N5, 500 in 2011.
Confirming his death to AIT, Chief of staff to the NLC President, Chris Onyeka said Dr Peter Ozo- Eson died on Saturday, December 13th.
However, the NLC is yet to issue an official statement.
