Former Senator and rights activist, Shehu Sani, has called for a full investigation of the administration of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, over alleged financial mismanagement and human rights violations.
Shehu Sani made the call at a news conference in Kaduna where he alleged that recent criticisms of the current administration by the ex-governor were influenced by political grievances.
He accused the former Governor of undermining the rule of law during his tenure and urged relevant anti-corruption and security agencies to investigate alleged cases of financial impropriety and human rights abuses.

Shehu Sani stated that while opposition is essential in a democracy, Nigerians must distinguish between constructive criticism and politically motivated narratives.
He also called on security agencies to intensify efforts to unravel the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of political activist, Abubakar Dadiyata, seven years after he was reported missing.
