Four suspected armed criminals terrorizing traders and farmers around Zaki Biam Ukum local government area of Benue state have met their Waterloo in an encounter with Operation Zenda joint task force.
The bodies were brought to the State Police Command in Makurdi the State capital with weapons and charms recovered.
Commissioner of police Benue State Command, Wale Abass has vowed to go after those who escaped to rid the State completely of crime.

Early Saturday the Benue State Police Command created quite a stir following the killing of the gang members.
Chief security officer of the State accompanied by the Senator representing Benue north east and other representatives stormed the police command to see things for themselves.
Those lucky to have escaped have therefore been adviced to change from their old ways otherwise the law will certainly catch up with them.
The three local government councils of Kastina-Ala, Logo and Ukum also referred to as Sankera have been notorious for banditry and gang related crimes even after the murder of their gang leader Terwase Akwaza popularly known as Gana a narrative the police command says it is poised to change.
