The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, hereby notified the motoring public and the general commuters traveling from or to the Southwest, through the Lokoja-Kabba- Federal Highway of the cave-in of a section of the road between Zariagi and Obajana cement factory.
In a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, this has led to an obstruction of the free flow of traffic along the route, as the concerned authorities are carrying out emergency repairs, to restore the normal flow of traffic, which may take several hours to complete.
In view of this development, motorists, travellers, and the general public are therefore advised to use the Lokoja-Okene-Kabba, or Lokoja-Okene-Ogorimangogo, as alternative routes to or from the Southwest.
