Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara says his administration has had enough of the continuous attempts by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun to sabotage his administration and the peace being enjoyed in the state.

He accused the Egbetokun of being a willing tool in the hands of persons hell-bent on ensuring that Saturday’s local government elections do not hold in the state.

The Governor made the accusation after he rushed to headquarters of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC in the early hours of Friday to confront and drive off some policemen deployed from neighbouring Imo State to take over the premises.
Speaking after the confrontation, a visibly angry Governor Fubara says nothing will stop Saturday’s election from holding.
