The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said the 212 Naira per liter petrol pump price being contemplated by the Buhari-led federal government is not only insensitive but wicked and callous.
The party insists that such proposal would not only push Nigerians to the wall but would likely worsen the already tensed economic and social crisis in the country
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party Kola Ologbodiyan, PDP notes that the continuous increase of petrol pump price has become the easiest way through which the APC leaders extort Nigerians of billions of naira.

The party says it is particularly concerned over the inability of the government to account for the over 15 trillion naira allegedly stolen by APC leaders
The party therefore calls on Nigerians to remain calm but very alert in readiness within the ambit of the laws to stand up ,rescue and defend the National patrimony and collective wealth of Nigeria.
