G5 PDP Governors hold long hours of closed-door meetings in Enugu State

G5 PDP Governors

The meeting of G5 Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP from Abia, Enugu, Benue, Rivers and Oyo States has ended in Enugu, South-East Nigeria with Governor Oluseyi Makinde of Oyo state absent.

The four governors who held long hours of the closed-door meetings which lasted till very late in the night include Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and their host, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.

Speaking on behalf of G5 PDP Governors, Ortom describes the meeting as fruitful saying issues affecting the country and the wellbeing of the people were discussed.

He explained that the
G5 PDP Governors are for a united Nigeria where there is justice, discipline and respect for the rule of law. He commended Governor Ugwuanyi and the people of Enugu State for the warm reception accorded them.

Governor Ugwuanyi had earlier received the three visiting Governors at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
