Four people have been confirmed dead and several others injured following an explosion that occurred In the early hours of Thursday in Lagos.
The gas station belonging to Best Roof Cooking Gas exploded burning buildings around it.
The spokesman of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Nosa Okunbor, said the cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
Okunbor hinted that a combined effort of the Agency’s Tiger team, Dolphin team, LRU Fire, LASG Fire Service, NPF, NUPENG, and LNSC were on the ground to curtail the spread of the fire to other buildings.

Gas explosions have become a recurring decimal in Lagos with the attendant loss of lives and property raising the need for urgent action by government to address the problem.
