The Nigerian Police Gombe Command says, it is working tirelessly to ensure the metropolis and beyond are rid of criminal elements.
It called on its officers and men to ensure the safety of residents across the state.
The command gave the assurance while parading seventeen suspects involved in various crimes, and confirmed it neutralized a suspect involved in armed robbery.
First was the arrest of Ibrahim Garba, a middle-aged man from Yamaltu Deba local government area who was involved in criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide in Deba
The arrest of another suspect, Ukasha Gwall, who attempted to commit culpable homicide in Gombe metropolis was also paraded.
Some youths involved in unruly behavior during the durbar were also arrested and paraded by the police.
The police noted that it has been able to reduce to the barest minimum Armed robbery and burglary in the metropolis.

The command gave the assurance that the suspects will be charged to court soon, and confirmed the death of a suspect involved in armed robbery during a gun battle.
