Residents in Gombe state came out to participate in another electoral exercise to elect local government chairmen in the eleven local government areas of the state.
The state governor Inuwa Yahaya who participated in the exercise commends the conduct of both the electoral Umpire and the electorate for the peaceful elections
It was another time to participate in the electoral exercise, this time for chairmen and councillors of the eleven local government areas of the state.
At many of the wards there was a gradual movement of people to the polling booths as the process began in earnest
State governor Inuwa Yahaya commended the conduct of the process so far as women also in Dukku Gombe north played their part participating in the exercise
In Talasse Balanga local government area Gombe south residents flocked the local government secretariat to participate in the exercise
While in Luggerowo in Akko local government area Gombe central speaker of Gombe state house of assembly was excited that the people would be making their choice
In all, the people are expected to elect their local representatives with the hope that they will provide good governance for the people.
