Pensioners in Gombe State on Wednesday protested the nonpayment of four months’ pensions by the state government.
They blocked the access road to the state Government House calling on the government to pay the arrears given the harsh economic conditions in Nigeria.

The members met with officials of the state government and were assured their issues would be looked into.
