The Nigerian Police Gombe Command has confirmed the arrest and detention of nineteen year old Shuaibu Adamu, a casual security guard of one of the construction companies in the government house over the murder of a staff of a construction company in the same government house.
In a report made by the command to the media, the Public Relations Officer, DSP Buhari Abdullahi who confirmed the incident at the state government house disclosed that the police had begun investigations following a distress call from the government house over the discovery of a lifeless body of the deceased on the 26th of December 2025. Investigations from CCTV footage also discovered the assailant stuffing rubber solution to the deceased victim after heated argument .
The police thus detained the said culprit after arresting him at his hideout in Bagadaza Quarters in Gombe. He has confessed to the crime.
The Police Command further disclosed that it is still on with investigations and assured the people of its commitment of safety to the people in Gombe Srate.
