Residents in Gombe metropolis are grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Ministry of Health for the forty- eight hour free medical emergency services in the state as the Federal Teaching Hospital is providing toll free lines and ambulances for emergencies such as accidents and individuals in need of emergency medical services.
The residents who spoke to AIT say the initiative would aid in reducing the burden of medical services in the light of current economic realities

The emergency services commenced at the Federal Teaching Hospital as residents respond to call from the Federal Medical Institution in Gombe metropolis.
The federal medical institution says the initiative is to assist the people in the face of current economic realities
For the people, they remain grateful to the federal government and the teaching hospital.
