Officials of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) have concluded the two-month rehabilitation of roads in the north-east of the country.
This is part of a special intervention on maintenance and repairs of all federal roads in the country, tagged Operation Connect to your Destination aimed at improving the quality of roads across the federation
The rehabilitation work on roads in the north-east was in response by the federal government to the cry of the people to fix the roads, which was crucial to development and trade in the zone.
The work, which began in the last month of 2023 in line with President Bola Tinibu’s renewed hope agenda, had officials of the state government expressing their satisfaction with the quality of work done
For road users in the area, it is a relief for their trade and trusts that the agency will continue the rehabilitation and maintenance of the roads
Meanwhile the federal roads maintenance agency says they are committed to delivering good roads to Nigerians, and for road users, they hope for more of this initiative to ensure safety on the roads.
