Nigeria needs to adopt a leadership recruitment system that creates opportunities for people with capacities to drive national agenda for economic prosperity of the country.
This is what Senator Shehu Sani thinks will help to build a pool of leaders with the capacity to lead the people beyond mere hopes.
Senator Sani was the guest speaker at the Fourteenth Distinguished Leadership Series and Dinner of the University of Abuja over the weekend.
Some of the resource persons at the event, including Sani who was the guest speaker, particularly expressed concerns about the leadership challenges in Nigeria.
The University of Abuja Leadership Center says it is building a leadership pool that will cover the leadership deficiency in Nigeria.

There was a consensus on the need for both the leadership and the followership to begin to adopt strategies that will make policies work in Nigeria.
The Fourteenth Distinguished Leadership Series with the theme: “Moving Nigeria Beyond Hopes” was organized by the University in honour of graduating students.
