Governor, Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Southwest Nigeria has approved full time employment for all casual staff who have spent over 15years with the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC).

Governor Adeleke gave the directive on Thursday while commissioning six new digital transmitters and studios for the broadcast outfit in Osogbo, the Osun State capital .

Osun State Broadcasting Corporation with studios in the three Senatorial districts of the State, was established in 1999 and has been battling with obsolete transmitting equipment, a development which has greatly affected its reach across the State.

Governor Adeleke at the event, reaffirmed the commitment of his government in making life better for the people, noting that efforts are ongoing to transform the State’s Television station to a world class broadcast platform .

The Governor who used the occasion to grant full time employment to all casual workers in the station, urged all staff to put in more efforts to achieve the overall objectives of quality service delivery of the station.

The Management of OSBC and stakeholders applauded the bold step taken by the Governor to reposition the organisation in the interest of the people.

The Governor thereafter appeared on a Live studio interactive programme, where he responded to questions from the public.
